The DPW challenge for this week was a painting of white on white. I chose this photograph, taken by my daughter, Caitlin. We had a significant snow fall on Saturday, and for some reason, Mother Nature has been kind to the Great Lakes Region this winter. The lake and bay have not frozen....
Caitlin captured the icicles hanging from the heavy tree limb on the barely frozen shore on Misery Bay. At first glance, all appears white in the early morning sun. The gentle color reflections on the white snow and icicles were amazing.
This is beautiful. Great photo and great rendering too!
ReplyDeleteWe have snow on the ground too, but only the second time this year I think.
