Iris

The Thanksgiving week challenge was to paint in the style of your favorite Artist. Vincent is always the first to come to mind. I love the richness of his color palette and the brush work. I have had this photo from my garden for years. I never attempted it because the flowers always seemed difficult to render.

    I love this one! Van Gogh is also my favorite artist and his Irises painting is amazing. I think you captured his style well.
